Salary: $55–$70 per hour ($8,800–$11,200 per month equivalent)

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex ETL and ELT solutions using IBM DataStage.
- Build reusable, parameterized, and metadata-driven ETL frameworks and automated data processing workflows.
- Integrate Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, flat files, XML, JSON, Parquet, and cloud storage sources.
- Develop cloud-native pipelines and migrate data from on-premises systems to Snowflake, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, performance tuning, root cause analysis, production support, and incident management.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data integration solutions.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7 or later, including Parallel Jobs, Sequencers, Parameter Sets, monitoring, administration, and performance tuning.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills with strong Oracle and DB2 experience.
- Strong Snowflake experience, including Streams and Tasks, Dynamic Tables, stages, Secure Views, Data Sharing, and query optimization.
- Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting skills for automation, batch scheduling, file handling, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with high-performance batch, incremental, and CDC-based pipelines, ETL/ELT architecture, dimensional modeling, data lakes, and lakehouses.
- 8–10 years of engineering experience preferred, with a minimum of 6 years required, plus a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- CI/CD experience and familiarity with Git, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Snowflake performance optimization experience.
- Payments industry experience.
