TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Integrations): Building and optimizing high-performing, scalable enterprise-grade integration services and APIs with an accent on .NET development and Azure cloud services. Location: Hybrid (Boston, MA). Must be based in the US and able to work from the Boston office two days per week.

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integration services, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise backend components.
• Design technical solutions and produce detailed architectural documentation and API specifications.
• Support existing systems by troubleshooting incidents and monitoring code execution.
• Collaborate with test teams during UAT to resolve bugs and support code deployment across environments.
• Provide technical guidance and best practice advice to cross-functional IT teams.

Requirements

• Strong .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET, and reusable libraries.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, API Management).
• Solid SQL skills with experience in relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
• Must be located in or able to commute to the Boston, MA office for a hybrid schedule (2 days/week).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of frontend application design or mobile/tablet hybrid development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as XP, Kanban, BDD, or TDD.
• Experience with cloud serverless applications and API Management platforms.
