What you will do

• Validate hourly employee timesheets and payroll data before processing.
• Process payroll adjustments, earnings, deductions, and final paychecks in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Audit payroll, reconcile data, and identify discrepancies before payroll completion.
• Resolve payroll and timekeeping issues with employees, managers, HR, Finance, Benefits, and other stakeholders.
• Support compliance activities, internal controls, SOX requirements, reporting, and audit requests.
• Contribute to payroll system testing, upgrades, implementations, documentation, automation, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Experience in a global or large multinational organization with 10,000+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, wage and hour requirements, and payroll compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Must be based in the United States and on the West Coast.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Dayforce Payroll, Dayforce Workforce Management, or ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting SOX controls and payroll audits.
• Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
