Sportsbook - Senior Data Engineer (iGaming)

hirify.global develops and operates an in-house Sportsbook platform serving multiple brands and international markets in the iGaming industry.

What you will do

• Maintain and evolve data structures across the Sportsbook data platform.
• Build new ETL flows and improve existing pipelines.
• Design data structures and data modelling concepts for data warehouse solutions.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy by creating data validation methods.
• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, while investigating message-based architectures for data streams.
• Troubleshoot incidents, document processes and runbooks, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely business insights.

Requirements

• Advanced T-SQL coding skills.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MSSQL 2014–2017.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSIS, plus knowledge of data warehouse and ETL concepts.
• Knowledge of data modelling, reporting and analytical tools such as SSRS and SSAS.
• Experience with database development and performance-tuning techniques, Git, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Automation and scripting experience.
• Additional programming skills in .NET, Python, R, or Scala.
• Knowledge of Big Data concepts and data-streaming architectures.
