What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network security across on-premises, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Manage enterprise firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, traffic inspection, SSL/TLS decryption, threat prevention, segmentation, and routing integration.
• Administer NAC solutions for wired, wireless, VPN, and remote users, including authentication, device profiling, posture validation, and policy enforcement.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, certificates, authentication, cloud networking, endpoints, and VPN connectivity.
• Develop API and scripting automation, maintain technical documentation, and improve operational processes.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Endpoint teams while supporting incident response and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network security, network engineering, security engineering, or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, VPNs, NAT, segmentation, traffic inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with NAC across wired, wireless, VPN, or remote-access environments.
• Experience in hybrid environments using on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, authentication, certificates, HTTP, TLS, and identity-based access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, prioritization, and mentoring skills, plus scripting and API automation experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewall and NAC platforms.
• GIAC/SANS, CCNP Security, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or Azure networking and security certifications.
• Experience in regulated environments or with CIS Controls, SOX, GLBA, or FFIEC frameworks.
