What you will do

• Own the design and delivery of end-to-end infrastructure for ingesting, transforming, and serving financial datasets.
• Architect scalable, cost-effective data processing pipelines handling millions of documents and data points with low latency.
• Integrate market data vendors, proprietary sources, and third-party financial datasets into reliable queryable platforms.
• Partner with the Core AI team to structure and serve data for model and retrieval-system performance.
• Build secure and compliant customer-data integrations with strong privacy and reliability standards.
• Lead by example through technical ownership, high-quality engineering, and collaborative culture-building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
• 4+ years of experience with GCP or an equivalent cloud stack in production environments.
• Deep Python expertise and proficiency in Rust, C++, or Java; Java is a strong plus.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, streaming, queuing, caching, observability, SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, Redis, and columnar data stores.
• Experience with large-scale streaming and batch data pipelines, globally distributed engineering teams, and financial data or capital markets.

• Strong proficiency in Java.
