• Lead the design vision for Mercury's Accounting Integrations from early strategy through polished execution.
• Reimagine how customers complete accounting work through automation and new interaction models.
• Translate complex financial operations into simple, intuitive product experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research to drive rapid exploration and experimentation.
• Define shared interaction patterns and visual language across the accounting ecosystem.
• Raise the overall quality bar for accounting experiences through exceptional design leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading complex, end-to-end product design initiatives.
• Ability to think in systems and workflows rather than individual screens.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Proven experience turning highly complex workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Strong product judgment, communication skills, and a high degree of ownership.
• Ability to use AI to accelerate exploration and deepen thinking without compromising craft.
