What you will do

• Build, maintain, and drive the transition to a new Data Platform using Dagster, dbt, AWS ECS, and GCP GBQ.
• Develop custom tooling, monitoring, data-checks, and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency for other data teams.
• Maintain and optimize fundamental ELT pipelines moving terabytes of data from MySQL in AWS to GBQ.
• Take responsibility for critical company reports that serve as the foundation for executive board decisions.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Software Engineering with high-volume, business-critical pipelines.
• Deep practical experience with Dagster, dbt, Google BigQuery (GBQ), and AWS (ECS).
• Expert-level SQL and Python skills.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including CI/CD, testing, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of infrastructure setups such as Docker and Terraform or CloudFormation.
• English: Business fluent level required.
