What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for distributed radar systems.
• Develop high-performance backend services for real-time sensor data ingestion and distribution with low latency.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automate deployments using modern DevOps practices.
• Own observability, monitoring, and operational readiness to ensure system resiliency in demanding environments.
• Shape the platform's technical direction and make critical architectural decisions for scale and maintainability.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to deliver end-to-end capabilities from sensor to cloud.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals in scalable backend systems and distributed systems.
• Experience building and taking ownership of production cloud services.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and modern backend development.
• Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD.
• Experience with real-time data pipelines.
• Frontend development skills using TypeScript and React.
