Staff Software Engineer (Enterprise Platform)

What you will do

• Build the Enterprise Platform engineering discipline and define its technical direction and architecture.
• Manage device configuration, endpoint management, and hardware provisioning through versioned, API-driven infrastructure.
• Automate identity systems and downstream application integrations, including SSO, SCIM, and account workflows.
• Develop deployment pipelines, infrastructure-as-code patterns, and CI/CD standards for internal systems.
• Design APIs, CLIs, and self-service portals for automated onboarding, access provisioning, and group management.
• Write RFCs and documentation that establish the foundation for future engineering work.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and operating production software and systems at a technology company.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including production development, testing, and delivery with Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Deep hands-on experience with IAM, including SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC, and RBAC.
• Fluency with Terraform, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
• Experience treating endpoint and fleet management as an API-driven engineering surface at scale.
• Experience owning ambiguous projects end to end and building self-service tooling from scratch.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Okta, Jamf, or Intune.
• Experience with identity and access governance for workload or AI-agent principals.
• Background in a high-growth consumer technology company with a highly technical employee base.
