Salary: €4,800–€6,200 gross monthly

What you will do

• Design and deliver robust IT solutions to facilitate flexibility and energy trading activities.
• Maintain backend services utilizing Scala with ZIO and Python for specialized components.
• Build new microservices from scratch using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while performing code reviews.
• Mentor developers and contribute to the engineering culture through the Guilds structure.
• Utilize observability tools and product metrics to validate feature efficacy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior role building Scala/Kotlin services.
• Strong expertise or interest in functional programming and API Design.
• Experience working in product-based companies within cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to writing reliable, clean, and maintainable code with a strong focus on testing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam office (Hybrid)
