What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable data products and BI solutions for Financial Crime Compliance.
• Mentor engineers on data modeling, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Optimize data pipelines to improve reliability, processing efficiency, and data quality.
• Collaborate with FEC specialists and stakeholders to create actionable risk profile dashboards.
• Ensure the maintenance of the data landscape using governance principles and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and BI development, specifically within the Azure ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Airflow.
• Experience with data modeling, lakehouse architecture, and ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI report building.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery environments.
