Salary: €5,341 – €7,630 gross per month

What you will do

• Develop and maintain PySpark-based data pipelines within Databricks for Investment and Research Platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to enhance data models for BI tools.
• Manage Databricks workspaces, dependencies, and Azure DevOps repositories for version control and CI/CD.
• Engage with stakeholders including front office, IT, and architecture teams.
• Mentor and coach junior developers.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in PySpark, Databricks, and Python (OO principles).
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and querying.
• Experience with Azure Data Platform and DevOps practices.
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Highly developed communication skills in English.
• Must be based in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial datasets and investment data flows.
• Experience with SQL database setup and optimization.
• Knowledge of other modern programming languages.
• Exposure to web development.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
