Digital Communication Officer (Data Analytics)

What you will do

• Monitor and report on global growth, engagement, and performance indicators for U-Report.
• Prepare RapidPro flows for polls and chatbots, ensuring proper M&E structures are in place.
• Analyze poll results and chatbot interactions to generate actionable insights for partners and the U-Report community.
• Develop data visualizations and narratives to support programme teams and decision-makers.
• Generate monthly and annual digital performance reports for websites, apps, and social media.
• Support Regional and Country Offices in enhancing monitoring and evaluation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, M&E, or software development.
• Mandatory proficiency in RapidPro and either R or Stata for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization and quantitative reporting.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be eligible for appointment based in Valencia, Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO, or Facebook Marketing API.
• Field experience in development or humanitarian contexts.
