What you will do

• Lead the strategic expansion of e-commerce tracking for a high-traffic multi-tenant SaaS storefront.
• Establish a new analytical function and measurement infrastructure from the ground up.
• Define scalable KPIs and performance metrics to drive product development for enterprise retail customers.
• Translate platform analytics into actionable product features and long-term growth strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Design) to shape data-oriented features.
• Serve as a strategic translator between technical engineering teams and commercial business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong MVP-focused approach centered on analytics, complex KPIs, and platform performance measurement.
• Extensive experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami) and BI tools.
• Proficiency in integrating state-of-the-art AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) into daily workflows.
• Ability to communicate fluently with English-speaking engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to data precision and measurement logic integrity.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience on the SaaS/platform side of e-commerce.
• Background in specific retail verticals such as fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
