Flight Test Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Munich, Germany; EU work authorization required.

What you will do

• Execute FPV flights and model aircraft tests for detection and interceptor systems.
• Collect flight data according to defined test procedures.
• Label and annotate collected data accurately for data and ML teams.
• Coordinate with data engineers, ML engineers, flight test staff, drone operators, and interns.
• Support test setup and teardown in field environments.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with FPV flights and/or model aircraft.
• Ability to follow structured testing and data collection procedures.
• Careful, consistent, and detail-oriented approach to data collection and labeling.
• Strong teamwork and close collaboration skills.
• EU work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Drone operation or RC piloting experience.
• Data labeling or annotation experience.
• Aerospace, model aircraft, or related hobbyist or professional flight background.
