What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript/JSON, SQL, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Build scalable and reliable solutions for data ingestion, normalization, preparation, integration, and processing.
• Perform data cleansing, quality assurance, exploratory analysis, and structured and unstructured data fusion.
• Support large-scale federal agency datasets and data science and AI/ML workloads.
• Implement data governance, maintain documentation, and troubleshoot complex data problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design data models and architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of experience, or 6–8 years of experience without a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance must be maintained.
• At least one year of experience developing, running, packaging, and testing Python scripts.
• Experience with distributed version control systems and the full ETL/ELT lifecycle.
• Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and communicating findings to analysts.
• Experience supporting collaborative data engineering projects in cross-functional sprint teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir products for data manipulation, correlation, and visualization.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services.
• Experience with Kafka, NiFi, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
