What you will do
- Design, implement, and debug integrated software solutions in compliance with medical regulations and standards.
- Contribute to secure and scalable architecture, articulating design decisions to technology leadership.
- Develop reusable patterns and drive feature development through the full SDLC.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to security, scalability, and maintainability guidelines.
- Solve complex technical problems using advanced software engineering principles.
- Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams across various geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Angular, C#, .NET Core, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Microservices, Kafka, and Kubernetes Compute Platform.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must be based in or able to work from Galway, Ireland.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure DevOps (AzDo) and YAML pipelines.
- Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger and OpenAPI.
- Experience with static code analysis (SonarQube) and security scanning tools.
- Background in software design for medical devices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
