What you will do
- Calibrate engine control systems, including fuel injection, air management, EGR, and aftertreatment.
- Conduct dyno, road, and laboratory testing to validate emissions performance.
- Analyze test data and adjust calibration to meet Euro, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Support emissions certification and environmental compliance activities.
- Collaborate with powertrain, software, and validation teams.
- Troubleshoot emissions-related issues and optimize performance trade-offs.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical, automotive, or a related engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including OBD and trouble codes.
- Understanding of ECU systems, internal combustion engines, combustion processes, and emission control systems.
- Experience with calibration tools such as INCA, CANape, MDA, CRETA, or OptiSIM, plus data analysis skills.
- Understanding of emissions regulations and testing procedures, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Driver’s license B and AW18 qualification.
