What you will do

• Oversee all mechanical installation activities for boilers, vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, and conveyors from delivery to completion.
• Coordinate sequencing, tie-ins, and connections in close alignment with the piping installation scope.
• Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, monitoring resourcing, productivity, quality, and program adherence.
• Lead the alignment, levelling, and setting-to-work of plant items according to vendor and project specifications.
• Drive QA/QC and completions, including ITP sign-offs, walk-downs, punch lists, and mechanical handover packs.
• Liaise with client engineering, vendors, and HSE officers to resolve technical and coordination issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Installation Superintendent or Construction Manager on large-scale new-build projects.
• Strong track record of managing multiple mechanical subcontractors through to completion.
• Demonstrable experience coordinating with piping installation scopes on multi-discipline sites.
• Solid background in QA/QC and completions (ITPs, walk-downs, handover documentation).
• Recognized mechanical trade background with SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely, or CCSNG certification.
• Full-time onsite presence at High View Powerstation in Carrington is required.

Nice to have

• Project experience in Energy-from-Waste, Power, Hydrogen, or Petrochemical sectors.
• Awareness of NEC 4 contracts and experience working under principal contractor or EPC arrangements.
