Installation Engineer - Foreman

What you will do

• Lead switchgear installations, including off-loading, busbar assembly, and system testing.
• Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
• Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, contractors, and trades.
• Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure strict adherence to RAMS and H&S regulations.
• Manage daily task allocation and monitor the performance of engineers and labourers.
• Complete essential site documentation, including progress reports and test records.

Requirements

• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar electrical engineering role.
• Strong proven track record in electrical engineering and switchgear testing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to work away from home Monday–Friday (approx. 80% of the year).
