What you will do
- Lead switchgear installations, including off-loading, busbar assembly, and system testing.
- Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
- Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, contractors, and trades.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure strict adherence to RAMS and H&S regulations.
- Manage daily task allocation and monitor the performance of engineers and labourers.
- Complete essential site documentation, including progress reports and test records.
Requirements
- Must hold a full clean UK driving licence.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar electrical engineering role.
- Strong proven track record in electrical engineering and switchgear testing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work away from home Monday–Friday (approx. 80% of the year).
