Location: Hybrid (USA). Must be based in or able to work from one of the office locations: Boulder, Morrisville, San Jose, Nashville, or Las Vegas.

Salary: $174,250 - $225,500 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy for new and existing customers in close collaboration with Sales teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions based on Instaclustr's open-source offerings.
• Partner with SMEs, Sales, and Customer Success to create comprehensive architectures.
• Conduct technical demonstrations and lead Proof of Concept (POC) engagements.
• Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships within customer and partner communities.
• Manage accounts, opportunities, and pipeline using corporate sales tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar technical role.
• Deep understanding of Open Source technologies, specifically Cassandra, Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, ClickHouse, or Cadence.
• Ability to act as a technical authority to win opportunities and drive results through customer obsession.
• Strong leadership skills in team-selling environments and experience managing relationships at the O-M level.
• Excellent communication skills to uncover and articulate unmet customer needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field is a plus.
