hirify.global is hiring medical coding contractors for an AI-focused healthcare data project.

What you will do

• Review and annotate medical records, assigning accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes from clinical documentation.
• Apply Evaluation & Management guidelines to assess coding levels and validate healthcare datasets.
• Analyze clinical documentation to identify coding ambiguities and inconsistencies.
• Provide expert feedback on coding guidelines, edge cases, and documentation scenarios.
• Collaborate with project teams through written and verbal communication to improve AI training data quality.

Requirements

• Professional medical coding experience with strong attention to detail.
• Active AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and Evaluation & Management leveling guidelines.
• Experience reviewing diverse clinical documentation and interpreting complex medical records.
• Knowledge of current medical coding standards, coding accuracy, and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
