Senior Technical Program Manager (Autonomy)

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, CA

Salary: $172,000 – $234,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the integration roadmap for the Vehicle autonomy platform across multiple software teams.
• Drive cross-team milestone planning, dependency mapping, and risk tracking for interlocking subsystems.
• Partner with engineering and safety teams to define integration test plans and validation gates.
• Translate technical status into clear risk/impact narratives for executive leadership.
• Anticipate and mitigate integration risks, including interface mismatches and simulation-to-real-world gaps.
• Improve and evolve program management processes as the platform and organization scale.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of technical program management experience, focusing on complex software integration (autonomy, robotics, or safety-critical systems).
• Strong technical grounding in software architecture across perception, planning, or controls.
• Experience managing multi-team programs with evolving requirements and heavy interdependencies.
• Proven ability to align engineering, safety, and leadership stakeholders around a shared plan.
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or safety-critical software systems.
