Location: Hybrid (São Caetano do Sul, Brazil) — Must be based in or be able to report to the office 3 times a week (Tue to Thu)

What you will do

• Lead the design release and lifecycle management of assigned brake components and subsystems.
• Support packaging and vehicle integration to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate engineering changes, deviations, and release actions to support design updates and quality improvements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and structured problem solving for design, validation, or supplier issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, purchasing, and supplier quality.
• Maintain accurate release data, technical documentation, and capture lessons learned for future programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with brakes, chassis, or related components.
• Working knowledge of engineering change management, drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Familiarity with validation processes, risk assessment methods, and failure analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
• Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil; immigration sponsorship is not provided.
