Junior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and support in-house fund management tools used by Fund Managers.
• Analyze and attribute portfolio performance.
• Automate manual processes and proactively resolve issues for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and support data pipelines for wider departmental use.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of Python, pandas, and OOP.
• Essential experience with SQL, specifically PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Proficiency with git, GitHub, and GitHub CoPilot.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in London.
• Previous experience in Investment Management or finance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Exposure to JavaScript.
• Experience with Flask or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of various asset classes, with a specific focus on index funds.
