Salary: $120,000β$140,000 USD, plus equity, PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do
- Develop and execute hardware, firmware, embedded-system, integration, system, functional, and regression tests in accordance with the quality management system.
- Create and maintain test plans, protocols, scripts, procedures, fixtures, and testing equipment.
- Perform hardware characterization, verification, firmware unit testing, system integration, and manufacturing verification.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, systems, research, manufacturing, and quality engineers to troubleshoot product issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement test automation and process improvements to increase product quality and efficiency.
- Support compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and medical-device regulations including FDA, CE, and IEC 60601.
Requirements
- BS in engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience; alternatively, an MS degree or above with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience writing technical specifications and documentation, including requirements, test plans, protocols, and reports.
- Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
- Experience testing embedded software running on a real-time operating system.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages, Git, JIRA, and GitHub.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and performing root-cause analysis for hardware and firmware issues in electromechanical systems.
