What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed and monitor patients after dosing.
• Screen and assess new and existing patients, collect urine specimens, and monitor laboratory work and physicals.
• Maintain accurate dosing records and prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages.
• Manage medical supplies and controlled medications in accordance with DEA requirements.
• Support regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards in the treatment center.
• Collaborate with counselors and nursing staff, including onboarding and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Rhode Island is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, patient interaction, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment and maintain frequent keyboard and computer use.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment and standard clinical devices.
• Strong data-entry, computer, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records and standard office equipment.
