What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve the server side of a large-scale visual moderation platform.
• Develop high-throughput asynchronous pipelines for large volumes of images and videos.
• Build multi-tenant systems and operate cost-sensitive ML workloads.
• Own architectural decisions, technical foundations, and pragmatic technology choices.
• Establish engineering practices for testing, observability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused improvements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience delivering and owning production systems.
• Strong hands-on coding skills and deep backend expertise, including Python.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based systems, preferably on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, queues, workflows, and production monitoring.
• Ability to work independently in low-process environments, navigate ambiguity, and communicate clearly.
