Lead Software Engineer (Workload Identity & Security)

Location: Hybrid role requiring time in the office and at home at a U.S. hub in Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; or Bloomington, IL. Applicants must already be eligible to work lawfully in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Potential starting salary: $85,500–$177,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy software and security solutions for secrets and credential management.
• Contribute to workload identity management using SPIFFE and support passwordless authentication with Entra ID.
• Work with AWS, Terraform, Git, Bash, Python, Go, Kubernetes, Java, and related technologies.
• Implement integration patterns across cloud, mainframe, and legacy environments.
• Lead and mentor peers on software development, security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Create documentation, architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and technical communications for diverse audiences.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in a DevSecOps environment.
• Experience with at least three relevant technologies or areas, including AWS, Terraform, Git and pipelines, Bash, Python, Go, Puppet, Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Spring, or automation scripting.
• Leadership or mentoring experience in software development and design.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, with excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Experience integrating multiple environments, including cloud, mainframe, and legacy systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States immediately; sponsorship for U.S. work authorization is not available.
