Development Engineer (Digitalization/Power BI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions to support decision-making across production workshops.
• Design and maintain data models and reporting structures for reliable business information.
• Build and enhance Power BI reports, semantic models, and KPI dashboards for production and quality.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and support the development of digital automation tools.
• Collaborate with production and digitalization stakeholders on hirify.global-wide solutions.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience (including internships) in reporting, analytics, or process development.
• Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools, specifically Power BI.
• Understanding of manufacturing environments and industrial operations.
• Good Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Tampere, Finland.

Nice to have

• Understanding of LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
