What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of data scientists for the Courier and Logistics domain
• Set the strategic direction for analytical work and measurement within the domain
• Build a strong data and experimentation culture with Product and operational stakeholders
• Develop new metrics and run analytical deep dives to support business strategy
• Identify foundational causal relationships in data to improve understanding of the business
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations to guide measurement strategies and decisions

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a data science or analytics position
• 2+ years of experience in team leadership
• Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and regression analysis
• Proficiency in writing structured and efficient SQL queries for large data sets
• Experience using statistical software such as Python, Matlab, R, or equivalents
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a data-driven, hypothesis-based approach
