Dispatcher (Logistics)

What you will do

• Receive and process incoming orders and delivery requests.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes based on traffic, delivery windows, and vehicle capacity.
• Assign tasks to drivers and monitor fleet progress using dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments about delivery status, delays, and operational issues.
• Resolve vehicle breakdowns, delivery exceptions, and customer complaints in real time.
• Maintain dispatch records and prepare daily delivery performance reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of dispatcher experience, preferably in e-commerce or logistics.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Experience with dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
