Product Manager (Payments)

Location: Remote across Australia or New Zealand

Salary: AUD $200,000 base + equity

A growing financial technology company building infrastructure that connects traditional payment systems with digital asset rails.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end payment flows across account-to-account, point-of-sale and mobile payment systems.
• Translate payment architecture into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Own the roadmap for new payment products and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering to scope, prioritize and ship features.
• Develop products across cross-border payments, merchant services and digital settlement.
• Present technical and product solutions to senior commercial and institutional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in account-to-account payments and payment infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of faster payments, point-of-sale and mobile payments.
• Proven experience translating payment flows into buildable technical solutions.
• Professional experience within payments, fintech or digital assets.
• Understanding of the intersection between digital assets and traditional payment rails.
• Must be based in Australia or New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Experience with institutional payment products.
• Experience integrating with banks, exchanges or payment providers.
• Knowledge of remittances, FX, merchant acquiring or stablecoins.
