Salary: £30,000–£40,000 plus London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Research, report, write or translate scripts, and produce digital video content for hirify.global Mundo.
• Film, edit, adapt, and publish videos for YouTube and social media platforms.
• Write accurate, engaging scripts responding to current and breaking news.
• Use audience metrics to understand viewer needs and shape relevant content.
• Collaborate with journalists, producers, editors, correspondents, contributors, and other hirify.global teams.
• Apply hirify.global editorial, legal, contractual, and copyright standards while delivering work to tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Spanish at first-language or equivalent level, with excellent written Spanish and strong storytelling ability.
• Strong experience producing digital video, including filming and editing for social media.
• Recent original journalistic work with measurable impact in the target area.
• Complete comprehension of written and spoken English and effective communication skills.
• Experience reporting in the field on international and/or Latin American current affairs.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, changing environment and prioritize tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with live and recorded video presentation.
• Broad knowledge of international news and Latin American history, politics, social issues, culture, and audience needs.
• Knowledge of hirify.global World Service aims, objectives, standards, and editorial agenda.
