What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end monthly, fortnightly, and weekly payroll for 3,000+ employees across multiple legal entities.
• Ensure full compliance with Irish Revenue requirements, PAYE Modernisation, and statutory payments.
• Serve as the primary administrator and lead for Sage Payroll system enhancements and data integrity.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Tax teams to optimize payroll integrations and processes.
• Manage payroll audits and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and coach payroll specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Irish payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing payroll for 3,000+ employees in Ireland.
• Expertise in Sage Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue compliance requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting multinational organizations or EMEA payroll environments.
• Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG.
• Experience with payroll transitions, outsourcing relationships, or transformation projects.
