Senior Director, Software Engineering (GenAI/Cloud)

Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX). Must be a U.S. applicant.

Salary: $206,100 – $360,800 USD per year

What you will do

• Define and drive enterprise engineering and cloud strategy to accelerate innovation and scalability.
• Lead the adoption of Generative and Agentic AI across the SDLC to significantly boost developer productivity.
• Oversee cloud-first platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring 5 9s+ availability and high resilience.
• Establish modern engineering excellence via CI/CD automation, DevOps, and observability standards.
• Mentor and grow high-performing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Partner with Product, Security, and Governance leaders to align technology roadmaps with business KPIs.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. applicant.
• 12-15+ years of engineering experience, including extensive leadership in large-scale product development.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, GoLang, Python, Spring Boot, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, vector databases, RAG, and prompt engineering into production.
• Experience designing globally distributed, active-active, multi-region platforms.
