Data Science & AI Intern

What you will do

• Work with data scientist mentors to formulate manufacturing and engineering challenges as well-defined AI problems.
• Develop anomaly detection and root cause analysis solutions for complex manufacturing processes and capacity planning controls.
• Apply time series foundation models, causal AI, optimization, and AI-based reasoning to model manufacturing behavior.
• Design scalable data and AI systems for large-scale manufacturing datasets.
• Use Python, advanced AI/ML models, and enterprise analytics platforms to deliver reliable, production-ready insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Substantial AI/ML experience applied to industrial use cases, including tabular data, time series data, and computer vision.
• Proficiency in Python for model development.
• Experience with relevant tools and frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Optuna, DoWhy, PyMC, SciPy, Google OR-Tools, evolutionary algorithms, Mesa, OctoTools, or OpenEvolve.
• Proficiency in English for writing, speaking, and presentations.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management, collaboration, and initiative-driving skills.
