Didactics and Learning Activities Specialist (STEM Education)

Location: Libin, Belgium; candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU.

What you will do

• Design, produce, test, deliver and evaluate innovative teaching and learning resources for formal and non-formal education.
• Plan and deliver teacher training, workshops, e-learning courses and other educator engagement activities.
• Coordinate international project-based learning programmes including CanSat, Astro Pi, Mission X, Climate Detectives and Moon Camp.
• Maintain project guidelines, calendars, classroom resources and online platform content, while supporting the tools used by participating teams.
• Communicate with educators, project teams, ESEROs, experts and international partners to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Prepare evaluation surveys and reports, organise project events, and contribute to new learning activity concepts and procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, STEM Education, Science Communication, Educational Sciences, Pedagogy or a relevant discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience designing, developing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating educational, training or STEM learning activities.
• Experience developing didactic resources, training materials and learning activities for formal or non-formal education.
• Experience planning and delivering teacher training, workshops, conferences or professional development programmes, including evaluation and reporting.
• Strong project coordination, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Fluent written and spoken English and eligibility to work and live in the EU are required.

Nice to have

• Teaching experience in schools.
• Experience with ESA, ESERO, EU institutions, international organisations or comparable multinational environments.
• Knowledge of ESA Education programmes, Learn with Space, ESERO and the listed project-based learning initiatives.
• Experience in STEM education, instructional design, digital learning, science communication or multicultural educational projects.
