Senior Field Applications Engineer (Edge AI MPU)

What you will do

• Support NXP application processors, AI accelerators, DNPU products, and related vertical solutions.
• Drive demand creation and customer design-in activities with sales, marketing, and business-line teams.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and coordinate projects to support successful delivery.
• Provide technical expertise for customer product designs based on NXP products.
• Address customer technical issues and share feedback on future product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with machine learning, LLMs, and agentic AI.
• Knowledge of operating systems, including Linux kernel, device driver, and BSP development.
• Experience in embedded hardware and software development.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARM Cortex-A cores or heterogeneous platforms.
• Experience with Android or QNX.
• Experience in the automotive hardware/software ecosystem, including AUTOSAR, MCAL, and functional safety.
