What you will do
- Lead finance and tax activities for the Seoul branch and Seoul Securities.
- Oversee financial, tax, regulatory reporting, management accounting, product control, controls, and finance change teams.
- Develop and execute the Korea finance strategy and functional plan, managing a nine-member finance team.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial and regulatory reporting to Korean regulators, including FSS, BOK, and NTS.
- Manage accounting and reporting under local regulations, local GAAP, IFRS, and ING standards.
- Advise local management and business teams while leading budgeting, forecasting, finance digitization, and transformation projects.
Requirements
- Senior finance professional with a strong track record leading finance functions in complex organizations.
- Qualified accountant, such as KICPA or CPA, with financial services experience.
- Strong technical accounting and regulatory reporting experience with excellent analytical and interpretive skills.
- Proven experience leading teams, developing finance capabilities, and managing multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Korean are required.
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and project management skills.
