SWE Fellow - Human Frontier Collective (UK)

Location: United Kingdom; fully remote. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for an estimated six months, with potential extension. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where they reside.

What you will do

• Collaborate with partnered AI labs and platforms on high-impact projects.
• Design complex, domain-specific problems and datasets for rigorous AI model evaluation.
• Provide expert insights to improve model accuracy, reasoning, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with hirify.global’s research team on technical reports and research papers.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary research network focused on advancing frontier AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or related technical experience, or equivalent academic expertise such as a PhD, postdoctoral research, or faculty experience.
• Demonstrated coding proficiency and analytical ability.
• Deep expertise in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, Swift, JavaScript, or C++.
• Detail-oriented, innovative approach with an interest in applied AI research.
• Authorization to work in the country of residence is required.
