Senior Platform Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $145,000–$170,500 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Automate and monitor Kubernetes-based platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts that improve developer workflows.
• Define standards for service configuration, secrets management, and application observability.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and runbooks while participating in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Prototype and implement improvements to platform availability, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi and a solid understanding of CI/CD workflows.
• Clean, maintainable code in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Go, Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience using AI agents such as Claude Code for engineering tasks, including providing clear context, constraints, and plans.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, version control, and code reviews.
• Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and willingness to grow into broader architectural and operational responsibilities.
