What you will do
- Monitor IBM Mainframe production environments in a 24x7 capacity.
- Execute daily operational procedures according to established run books.
- Manage batch processing and job execution using JES2/JES3 and tools like Control-M or CA-7.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and handle production incidents.
- Support IPL activities, planned maintenance windows, and disaster recovery tests.
- Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams including Storage, Network, and Security.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise IBM Mainframe environments.
- Experience with system consoles and batch scheduling tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24x7 production environment.
- Strong analytical skills and operational mindset.
