What you will do

• Lead rapid prototyping of PoC research initiatives in computer graphics, CV, and ML to evaluate feasibility for production.
• Perform camera and image sensor simulations to enable advanced computer vision and ML applications.
• Apply CV AI and ML techniques (object detection, tracking, recognition) for internal tasks, including face tracking for VR/AR headsets.
• Utilize modern graphics pipelines (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX) to contribute to data generation projects.
• Employ simulation technologies focused on human modeling (hair, muscle, skin deformation) to generate hyper-realistic assets.
• Develop 3D CCD content using 3D animation tools and middleware game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in R&D of human modeling and simulation systems for hardware design and ML optimization.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with graphics frameworks including OpenGL, Vulkan, and DirectX.
• Expertise with 3D tools (Maya, Blender) and game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA under a hybrid policy.
