What you will do

• Develop image, signal processing, and AI algorithms for optical inspection and metrology systems.
• Manage the full algorithm life cycle: modeling, proof-of-concept design, production implementation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams for prototyping and system testing.
• Conduct performance characterization and provide user support for developed algorithms.

Requirements

• Proven track record in image segmentation, texture analysis, classification, and statistical data analysis.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Matlab, and Python.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Milpitas, CA, USA.
• Ph.D. in EE, CS, or Physics is preferred; alternatively, a Master's with 3+ years or a Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPU optimization using SSE/AVX.
• GPU programming skills using CUDA.
