Clinical Development Scientist, Senior Manager

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid work with an average of two days per week commuting to the work location. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

Annual base salary: $139,100–$231,900, plus eligibility for a 17.5% performance bonus and a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Provide scientific and clinical oversight for early- and late-stage clinical trials in the Inflammation & Immunology portfolio.
• Author and review protocols, informed consent forms, Investigator’s Brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory submission components.
• Lead ongoing clinical data review for safety and efficacy trends and present findings to internal teams and governance bodies.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Pharmacology, investigators, and site personnel to execute trials.
• Support site training, Health Authority meeting preparation, GCP compliance, and clinical development process improvements.
• Use AI tools and innovative technologies to improve efficiency, reduce redundant work, and enhance quality.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline: PhD, PharmD, or MS; this is a non-MD role.
• PhD or PharmD with at least 2 years of relevant clinical research experience, or MS with at least 5 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong knowledge of drug development, clinical trial design and execution, clinical procedures, ICH guidelines, and GCP.
• Strong scientific writing, verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• U.S. work authorization by any employer is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

• Experience in the Inflammation & Immunology therapeutic area.
