US Medical Director, Transplant CLAD

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts or Morristown, New Jersey; hybrid role for US and Puerto Rico residents only. Travel requirement: 10–25%.

Salary: $178,500–$257,833.33 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the integrated US medical strategy for transplant products, primarily belumosudil (Rezurock), with a focus on lung, solid organ, and stem cell transplantation.
• Lead medical education, scientific communications, insight gathering, advisory boards, publications, investigator engagement, and evidence dissemination.
• Identify and oversee company-sponsored, investigator-initiated, external collaboration, post-marketing, registry, and real-world evidence projects.
• Provide medical expertise for regulatory, reimbursement, promotional, legal, commercial, and business development activities.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals and transplant thought leaders to translate field insights into medical plans and action.
• Coordinate US medical affairs functions, including compassionate use programs, compliance, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• Advanced degree such as M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D., D.N.P., or M.Sc. in pharmacy with extensive therapeutic-area experience.
• At least 5 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or clinical development experience; academic experience may be considered.
• 5–10 years of professional experience working with transplant patients, professional associations, or field-based teams.
• Strong scientific knowledge of stem cell or bone marrow transplantation, related pathology, clinical trials, retrospective database analysis, epidemiology, biostatistics, and health economics.
• Experience with US pharmaceutical regulations, product labeling, clinical development, healthcare delivery, and biotechnology or drug development.
• Fluent English and the ability to work in the United States are required.
