What you will do

• Set the technical direction and architecture for the iOS application, from foundational systems through large-scale feature delivery.
• Lead day-to-day iOS engineering through code reviews, architecture decisions, technical trade-offs, and quality standards.
• Align with Android engineers on shared product behavior, cross-platform architecture, performance, and consistency.
• Represent iOS in collaboration with Backend, QA, Design, and Product, translating product goals into technical decisions.
• Coach iOS engineers through pairing, code reviews, and architecture discussions while staying hands-on in the codebase.
• Establish standards for tooling, CI/CD, testing, engineering practices, and AI integration in the mobile experience.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Xcode, and the App Store lifecycle.
• Experience building and scaling high-traffic B2C consumer applications used by millions of active users.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in architecture, engineering guidance, and cross-functional alignment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Android engineers and understand shared mobile constraints and product parity.
• Experience working in fast-growing startups or scale-ups with rapid iteration and ambiguity.
• Fluent English required; French is a plus.

• Experience managing or technically leading engineers.
• Expertise in streaming video, media frameworks, and real-time content delivery.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into mobile applications.
