What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable data movement and storage solutions.
• Configure and administer SMB/CIFS and NFS file storage environments.
• Develop and support Amazon S3 and other AWS storage services, including access, encryption, and lifecycle policies.
• Monitor and optimize storage performance, availability, reliability, and data transfer operations.
• Troubleshoot storage, networking, and data movement issues while automating operational tasks with scripts and infrastructure tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Storage, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Hands-on administration experience with SMB/CIFS and NFS.
• Experience with Amazon S3, AWS IAM, encryption, access management, lifecycle policies, and cloud storage concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and storage performance optimization.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon EFS, FSx, EBS, AWS Storage Gateway, or enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp, Dell EMC, Isilon, or Pure Storage.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• AWS or storage-related certifications.
